Upon completion of IDEA
training program, a diver can obtain a level of certification. Below
are list of some IDEA courses:

student to familiarize with a new environment: the water. The
lessons explore the physical laws that relate to diving, pertinent
techniques and necessary equipments. Training takes place in
confined and open water, with snorkeling equipment.

a guided hands-on experience with dive equipment, not a course. A

Diver course.
BASIC SCUBA DIVER
Basic Scuba Diver certification
permits a person to engage in recreational open water diving, under
the direct control of a Divemaster/Assistant/Instructor (maximum
ratio 1:1), at the maximum depth of 12 meters. Within two years an
IDEA instructor can complete training of a student, certifying him
as an Open Water Diver.

The Open Water Diver course is the
first certification that qualifies a diver to procure air,
equipment, and other services and engage in recreational open water
diving without supervision. There are six theory lessons, six dives
in confined water and four dives in open water. Upon completion the
student will be certified to dive in open water, with an other
diver, at the maximum depth of 18 meters. Minimum age for admission
in 15 years.

taught various techniques to manage and control dives.
ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
The purpose of the Assistant
Instructor program is to train professional career-minded
individuals as well as those interested in recreational diver. There
are many divers who would like to assist the professional diving
instructor, but do not want to make diving instruction a career. The
IDEA Assistant Instructor program has room for both the
career-minded person and the amateur who wants to assist on
weekends.

from other organizations. After the final examination, the new
